Greg Fischer believes every Kentucky child deserves a world-class education and the opportunities that come with it. Greg has committed to Kentucky’s children and to expanding their educational opportunities. As Chair of the Louisville Science Center, Greg helped raise $25 million to modernize the facility and make it an interactive retreat that encourages young students to study science.  Throughout his business career, Greg has worked to make college more affordable for Kentucky families by providing scholarships to deserving students.

With Greg Fischer in the Senate, we’ll finally have a leader who’s cared enough to volunteer his time for Kentucky kids. In the Senate, Greg will work to increase Pell Grants and lower interest rates. He will work to increase funds for student loans, grants and work study programs so more kids can afford to go to college. He will work to reform and fully fund No Child Left Behind so that Kentucky gets its fair share of federal education dollars. He will work to increase teacher pay to keep the best teachers in the classroom.
