Lunsford's ploy illustrates difference between the two candidatesLOUISVILLE, May 14, 2008 – Greg Fischer dismissed attacks on his family and his businesses by Bruce Lunsford today, calling them baseless, and said they point out differences in the two candidates that he’s been talking about for months.
“In the past two weeks, as the race has tightened up, the Lunsford campaign has become more and more shrill,” Fischer said. “It’s reminiscent of the attacks he launched against Ben Chandler in his 2003 primary campaign for governor.”

Louisville, May 6, 2008 -- Greg Fischer, Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate, is gaining about a point a day on rival candidate Bruce Lunsford, according to a SurveyUSA poll released today. The poll shows Fischer rose four points this week, from 18 to 22 percent, while Lunsford dropped two points from 43 to 41 percent.
